Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation Grant Application

It is with much anticipation that the Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation announces that it is ready to accept applications for the Auburn High School grant process.

The Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation was established in 2011 with the following mission statement: “The mission of The Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation is to honor the life of Major David Brodeur by working collaboratively with Auburn High School students to provide grants in the areas of academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.”

The grant application can now be downloaded at the link below and on the Auburn High School website.

Once complete, please mail the application to the following address:

Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation
P.O. Box 124
Auburn, MA 01501

Some areas of application coverage would be community service projects, athletics to supplements camps, etc., workshops, memberships, travel expenses, etc. The students will be responsible for completing and submitting the grant request under the guidance of an advisor or teacher.

All applications will be reviewed by an unbiased selection committee comprised of volunteers. At this time the grant awards will be given out twice a year with the first awards in December and the second in April. It is the hope of the foundation that as the students become more aware and responsive to the process, the interest and applications will grow. In the future, the Foundation plans to open up the process to include applications at the middle and elementary levels.
